AUTHOR DETAILS
Clíona O’Conaill began her writing journey writing aged 13. She kept copious diaries for decades and became a full-time journalist in London in 1995. Following an epiphany on a beach in Mexico, she retrained in massage and alternative medicine.
On her return to the UK, she became a feature writer specialising in natural health and spiritual evolution. She later added the intricacies of sub-editing to her skillset and worked on various newsstand titles in London including Red and Bella.
After relocating to Devon, she continued as a part-time feature writer while she trained with Babette Rothschild to become a trauma therapist. She moved to Stroud in 2016, and in 2019, she left England to begin the pilgrimage chronicled in this book.
The autobiographically inspired Ever The Sea Calls Me Home – A Pilgrimage of Awakening is her first book.
