This workshop is a response to the many requests I had to offer conscious touch.
There is an epidemic of disconnection sweeping the Western world. Despite our best intentions, we find ourselves in an increasingly digital world rapidly racing into complete technological dominance. Too many of us spend too much time in front of our devices connecting via social media and messaging platforms which are a pale substitute for face to face, hand to hand, body to body connection.
Yet as mammals, we long to feel held, safe, secure, and connected.
Physical human connection through touch is essential to regulate our hearts, nervous systems and overall wellbeing.
In safely held structures we explore how to listen to the longing of our hearts, ask for the touch we need, and receive it in a way that is honouring and respectful of both the giver and the receiver.
The session is fully clothed. All touch is non-sexual.
This workshop is based on decades of counselling, tantra, healing, the wheel of consent, conscious dance and co-facilitation of Heart Body and Touch workshops with John Leigh Dent psychotherapist in Stroud England.

Facilitators:
Clíona is an author, Alchemist and Temple Healer. She has been practising counselling, tantra, trauma healing and guiding groups of conscious dancers for over 25 years. She is passionate about embodiment and creating safe spaces that enable participants to explore their physical and their inner landscape freely. She brings a rich blend of experience, warmth, playfulness, lightness and presence.
Alekos Christou has been practising tantra, ecstatic dance, clowning and facilitating tantra festivals for five years and brings his humour and his grounded presence.
