Tantra is a Sanskrit word which has a variety of meanings depending on who you read. My teachers translated it simply as transformation.

Tantra is not a religion but a technique of expanding consciousness, so people can discover their own individual spirituality and see each other as divine beings. It is a spiritual path and lifestyle with a basic philosophy of total self-acceptance with awareness.

It also means the union of opposites of merging the masculine and feminine principles within each one of us. When you master that, the need to find the perfect partner disappears. You realise that search is a projection of your own inner masculine or inner feminine, own it, feel it, heal it and integrate it.

“Tantra teaches you to reclaim respect for the body, love for the body. Tantra teaches you to look at the body as the greatest creation of God. Tantra is the religion of the body. Of course it goes higher, but it never leaves the body; it is grounded there,” says Osho late enlightened Indian mystic.

Tantric Meditation

Meditation is the primary technique used in Tantra. Shiva was a Tantric god who  lived about 5,000 years ago in India and developed 112 methods of tantric meditation for enlightenment. His Tantric consort was Shakti – The Divine Feminine principle.

On a more mundane level any activity becomes a meditation if we keep the thinking mind out of the way and become totally absorbed in the present moment. For example, while walking feel each part of your foot as it touches the ground, listen to the sounds of your footfall, feel how the bones and muscles in your body move as you walk, keep your gaze focussed down so you aren’t distracted by the world around you, walking in baby steps in slow motion, with no destination is best, then turn around and walk back. Bring the same deep attention to eating, washing the dishes, dancing, massage and lovemaking and it becomes a meditation. The secret is to surrender to the moment and allow yourself to tune everything about that experience particularly the sensate body – the physical sensations and the emotions, images, connection to spirit. The biggest challenge is to do this without talking to ourselves about the experience, getting carried away by thoughts and judgments about it, or memories of the last time you did it while it is happening, instead of ‘being’ the experience. When you can become the dance, the walking, the love,  one with existence and your partner during lovemaking then you are embodying tantra.

Sex and Heart

In Tantra our sexual life force energy, combined with our heart energy make the experience a spiritual experience, and a vehicle for awakening. When sex and love meet in meditation with awareness you become divine, and you can start rising in love, elevating yourself into a higher level of consciousness. In this way tantric practitioners can see each other as god and goddess. The archetypal embodiment of the divine feminine and masculine principles.

Sex–never repress it! Never be against it. Rather go deep into it with great clarity, with great love. Go like an explorer…Sex is just the beginning, not the end. But if you miss the beginning you will miss the end also,” says Osho.

Western popular culture embraced the concept of Tantra and ‘Tantric Sex’ for the sake of sexual gratification. That completely misses the spiritual aspect of Tantra – meditation, self awareness, no goals. In a session  we will work by uncovering your deepest longings that would be satisfied by sex at that time, be it boredom, needing to feel loved/loving, fear, anger, agitation, needing connection, release/relief, peace, oneness with the Divine or something else. And through a Transformation session you receive insights and guidance and healing so eventually you can become whole and complete in yourself and don’t ‘need’ sex but can enjoy it in a more refined and sacred way with your partner.

Tantric Transformation

Tantra is the combination of sex and spirit. Western society has become addicted to the sex side of that equation and left out the spiritual aspect. Without the combination of both there can be no transformation, no reaching enlightenment or longevity or immortality through Tantra. This kind of realisation often called Awakening is quite rare in modern society but we are now moving into a time when mass awakening will be possible.

To aid this mass awakening, raising consciousness of humanity I am offering Divine Light Transformational Healing sessions. These will greatly expedite your spiritual evolution, by healing everything in the way of awakening.

It is said that every 1000-2000 years someone brings through a new system of enlightenment. Enlightenment means reaching Divine oneness and seeing beyond the illusion of duality and separation, beyond the illusions of space and time. From Buddhism in the 6th Century BC to Christianity in 1st Century AD. Now it is the time for the Divine Feminine, also known as the Christed Feminine, supported by the Divine Masculine, to bring complete transformation to the world and its’ peoples.
